Abstract:
As the fidelity of Large Language Model outputs continues to improve, the increasing difficulty in distinguishing AI-Generated Text (AIGT) from human-authored content has intensified risks like intellectual property infringement and misinformation, necessitating reliable detection tools. Addressing the trade-off between cross-domain generalization and robustness in current methods, this paper proposes a dynamic perturbation network integrating semantic awareness and interpretability guidance. At the structural level, a self-attention mechanism generates semantic-aware masks to protect key discriminative features from indiscriminate noise. At the knowledge-guidance level, interpretable features extracted via Chain-of-Thought (CoT) reasoning serve as perturbation targets, transforming key attributes into Reinforcement Learning (RL) action space constraints to build a CoT-aware reward function. Experiments on the M4 multi-domain dataset across cross-generator and cross-corpus scenarios show that on six unseen domains, the attention-enhanced (RL_Att) and CoT-guided (RL_CoT) methods achieved average F1-scores of 87.50% and 88.02%, outperforming DP-Net by 4.54% and 5.06%, respectively. To verify adaptability, incorporating Deepseek-chat for CoT extraction further boosted the RL_CoT F1 to 88.84%. Under synonym-substitution attacks, RL_Att and RL_CoT demonstrated superior robustness with F1-scores of 85.30% and 84.25%, while the RL_CoT_Deepseek variant reached 85.95%. Against paraphrasing attacks, RL_Att and RL_CoT achieved F1-scores of 69.81% and 62.11%, surpassing DP-Net by 18.26% and 10.56%, with the RL_CoT_Deepseek model reaching 73.31%, a 21.76 percentage point improvement over the baseline.
